Christian Nerds Unite strives to connect nerd/geek culture with Christian faith. Exploring where they both converge and diverge. This is done through scripture, memes, videos, reviews, and podcasts. Think “Preach the Gospel at all times…When necessary use memes.” It includes being honest about our faith, active in our fandom, and trying to not take ourselves too seriously.

Christian Nerds Unite started on Facebook January 2nd, 2020. It came out of a previous Facebook page that was limited for unknown reasons. Since the old page no longer worked, I wanted to continue where I left off and starting over from scratch was the best way I could think to do it. In the past 2 years the pages have grown to almost 11,000 followers on Facebook and more than 1000 on Instagram that are engaged with the nerdy and Christian content. On August 1st 2020, I launched the Christian Nerds Unite group and it is quickly approaching 16,000 active members.

In November of 2020 I launched the Christian Nerds Unite podcast to great success. I love sharing my nerdy interests with listeners and hearing from amazing guests how their faith informs their fandom.

As excited about all this as I am, I want to see this grow more as a ministry. Life is hard sometimes. People are hurting and we live in a broken and sinful world. Broken things cannot fix themselves. They must appeal to a higher power. We are a broken and fallen people but Jesus gave up himself to be broken on the cross because He loves and honors you. I hope that Christian Nerds Unite can be just a small part of what God is doing in the lives of people in the nerd/geek community.
